existing in the design of water supply and drainage for coal mines
as well as the way forward for improvement are studied in the
aspects of selection of water supply sourceswater supply in
mines，treatment of circulating cooling water for mining industrial
sites and of wastewater from coal mines，etc.Discussions are made on
rational utilization of the effluent water resources in mines and
rational disposition of water supply and drainage systems and
circulating water systems，with a conclusion made that feasible so
lutions for the treatment of coal mine wastewater must be selected
in combination with practice.

煤矿给水设计的基本任务是满足矿井建设生产对水量、水压和水质的要求。主要包括矿井工业广场的生产、生活及消防用水；各类工业设备的冷却循环用水；矿井住宅区的生活及消防用水；矿井井下给水。
煤矿排水设计的基本任务是将矿井工业广场及居住区产生的各类生产废水、生活污水及雨水有组织的、符合环境保护要求排入地面水体。
煤矿给排水设计与城市给排水设计相比较有许多相似之处但又有其特殊性。一方面生产生活需要大量用水，另一方面煤矿开采又大大破坏地下水资源。在煤矿建设过程中，怎样才能符合市场经济规律，进行商业化、城市化给排水设计，怎样合理利用水资源，保护地面水环境，是煤矿给排水设计工作者必须重视的问题。本文结合多年从事煤矿设计的实践，对煤矿建设给排水设计存在的若干问题提出自己的看法。
1 给水设计
1.1 水源的选择
目前大多数矿井工业场地及居住区供水以取水源井地下水为主要供水水源、矿井水净化后回用作为辅助供水水源。
1.1.1 存在问题
以上供水方式存在下列问题：
①为保证矿井生产、生活用水，必须建许多水源井，以淮南矿区为例，潘三、谢桥煤矿均建有10多座水源井，这些水源井的泵房及设备投入大，且每座水源井还得征地保护。水源井输水管路较长。另外水源井取水能耗高，以淮南地区为例，一般成井深度超过80m，需要15～22KW的深井泵将地下水提升送至工业场地及居住区水池。
②工业场地及居住区供水设施分散，重复建设较多。特别是工业场地矿井水供水为非饮用水系统与水源井供水系统必须分开设置，连管道亦单独建设。因此，供水系统投资较高。
③矿井水利用率低，水资源浪费严重。
1.1.2 解决办法
因此，在进行煤矿给水设计时应解放思想，打破惯用的供水模式，充分利用矿井排水资源，在矿井工业场地建一座集中式的净化水厂，将矿井排水处理为生活饮用水，负责向矿井工业场地和居住区供水。以安徽省两淮地区的矿井排水为例，矿井排水中除悬浮物和细菌外，其余理化及毒理指标都符合生活饮用水的标准。大多数矿井排水经处理后全部回用足以保证矿井工业场地和居住区的生产、生活用水。部分水量充足的矿井满足自己用水外还有富余，净化水厂可在收取一定的水增容费和管网建设费后，向附近居民供水。矿井水净化处理流程如图2所示。
