Delegation members learn about the master plan of Expo
2010.

Zhou Qiang (center), governor of Hunan Province, takes a
bird's eye view of the Expo site.
Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng yesterday expressed hope that Shanghai Municipality
and Hunan Province, which had just inked a national participation contract with
Expo 2010 organizers, would further expand cooperation at a meeting with the
province's governor Zhou Qiang.
Han said he appreciated Hunan's help in the city's economic development,
saying that Shanghai would learn from the province's experiences in reform and
development.
Han noted that the city and Hunan have seen noticeable achievements in
cooperation and exchange in such areas as infrastructure, agriculture, trade and
tourism. Thirteen districts of the city have established friendly ties with 18
cities and towns in Hunan and 3,000-plus Hunan enterprises are doing business in
Shanghai.
Zhou said the province hoped to deepen cooperation with Shanghai in areas
such as infrastructure construction, tourism, customs clearance, agriculture and
Shanghai Expo.
The delegation visited the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination,
Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park and Yangshan Deepwater Port, among others.
