A Hebei Province trade delegation has held talk with Expo 2010
organizers, and local Expo officials are busy working on a theme statement and
exhibition plans. The World Expo theme is“Better City, Better Life.”
Huang Jianzhi, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo
Coordination, and Huang Yaocheng, counselor for national participation with the
bureau, received the delegation led by Zhao Fenglou, chairman of the Hebei
branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
Zhao said Hebei is keen to take part in the Expo. His delegation was briefed
on progress in Expo preparation, site construction and the pavilion space for
provinces.
