Zhong Yanqun, fulltime deputy director of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai
Executive Committee, today met Cesare Romiti, president of Foundation
Italy-China.
Zhong congratulated Milan for winning the bid to host World Expo 2015. Zhong
said that Expo 2010 is a good promotional platform for companies around the
world and organizers hope Italian enterprises share this opportunity.
Romiti said the scale of Shanghai Expo is surprising and he believed Italian
companies would actively participate in the event.
Foundation Italy-China was established in 2003 in Milan and is a coordinative
institute between public and private departments to support Italians firms
trying to enter the Chinese market.
