Expo officials yesterday discussed participation by Anhui Province during a
meeting with vice governor Wen Haiying in Hefei, the provincial capital.
The Expo delegation was led by Huang Yaocheng, counselor for national
participation with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.
Wen said Anhui Province has a good relationship with Shanghai and regards the
Expo as an important opportunity for development. Provincial preparations will
soon begin.
Expo organisers discussed details with the provincial Expo
team.
