A delegation comprising officials from the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and some government departments listened to Japanese officials’suggestions on volunteer training during a visit to Japan which wrapped up yesterday.

The delegation toured a volunteer center in Yokohama and a park built to commemorate Expo 2005 in Aichi.

Japanese representatives from political, industrial, business and financial circles warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed their eagerness to put forward suggestions on Shanghai Expo.

A volunteer association responsible for volunteer services during the World Expo 2005 Aichi has organized more than 100 volunteers to learn Chinese, part of its efforts to take an active part in Expo 2010.
